*curator's note: Grief presents itself to us in endless forms and is triggered by countless events throughout our lives. I realize this may sound obvious to most. Whether we have lost a family member (or two, as I have this past winter - hence the pull to do this show), a friend, or a pet; whether we are grieving over accelerating climate change or the loss of human rights that should never even be contested, whether we grieve missed opportunity, a missed connection or the ever-increasing pace of global unrest and uncertainty. It affects us all and it stems from a place of love, of compassion, of care.
For this exhibition we sought work that explores how you, the artist, have faced and/or are facing grief in whatever form it has come to you. Art is both acceptance and resistance, and a powerful tool for communication with one another in order to heal, understand, unlearn or relearn...let this exhibition be just one vibrant space in the amorphousness of grief's existence. We are stronger through it.
The Art of_ (9/22 -9/29)
"THE ART OF_" is an online auction event supporting The Laurel Foundation's work to enrich and empower the lives of transgender/gender-diverse youth and children, youth, and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
Donated works from internationally revered, industry-renowned, and rising artists all come together for the fourth year in a row, in September 2026, to be auctioned off online at the iconic John Moran Auction House, Monrovia, California.
The works will be globally promoted for online bidding, with a viewing of the works at John Moran Auction House on September 26, 2026. A celebrity and honorary guest-hosted VIP ticketed viewing cocktail event will be from 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM, and free general admission viewing from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at John Moran Auction House - 145 E Walnut Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016
Reclaiming the Ordinary (8/19 - 9/12)

Those ordinary moments are the heart of our newest exhibition, Reclaiming the Ordinary. Join us for an evening of incredible art that transforms the familiar into something unforgettable. Juried by Peggi Kroll-Roberts, this national exhibition brings together artists from across the country who prove that beauty has been hiding in plain sight all along.
Down the Rabbit Hole (6/12 - 7/24)
The latest local artists exhibition at Cedar House Gallery, "Down the Rabbit Hole," will feature whimsical, surreal, psychedelic, colorful out-of-this-world artwork! The show will run from Friday June 12th through Friday July 24th with an opening reception on June 12th from 6-9pm. My two pieces Oh, the Places You’ll Grow and Shine Bright will be part of this fun collection, stop in to check them out!
AOC Art in Bloom 2026
Art In Bloom is an extraordinary ticketed event that brings together the visual arts, floral design, and community celebration in one unforgettable evening. Held at the stunning Outfitters Amenity Center at Heartwood from 6–9 PM, this immersive experience will showcase juried works by local artists, each interpreted through fresh floral installations designed with flowers and organic materials. Guests will enjoy live music, cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, and the opportunity to meet both the artists and floral designers. Large-scale artworks will be available for purchase, with proceeds directly benefiting Arts on the Coast and our mission to support and elevate the creative spirit in Coastal Georgia.

Vibes - a solo show at 208 Wine Bar
In the last year, Courtney has become a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach and been exploring a spectrum of colors, new styles and techniques. She’s been spending most of her creative time exploring a deeper interpretation of her abstracts, bringing even more emotional processing into her pieces, and honing her intuitive flow. It’s important to her to stay just outside of her comfort zone so she can broaden her range, rather than committing to a specific niche. All of which is what she is bringing to 208 with her new show, Vibes.

Heartstryngs Visual Art & Sound Show
This inaugural show for ArtStryngs Gallery and Studio in conjunction with Suntone Recording will explore the many dimensions of love through visual art and sound. The show will run from February 23rd to April 6th, with an opening reception on the 3rd and a closing one on Friday, April 5th.
Collage & Intuitive Abstracts Workshop
Courtney (aka CC Bella Collage) brings her background in dance, writing and yoga into her art … meaning that she is inspired by play, experimentation, improv and stream of consciousness. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or a seasoned artist who wants a fresh perspective, in this two-day workshop you will not only come out with two completed pieces (an epoxy resined collage and an intuitive abstract collage painting) you will learn how to tap into your creative intuition and other tips/tools to continue your unique artistic journey. Regardless of the day’s goal, each morning will begin with a short, guided meditation and crystal singing bowl sound bath followed by some neurographic art exercises to quiet the mind’s chatter and access our imagination.
Savannah Local Artists Market (SLAM)
This iconic and much anticipated local artist market features over 75 artists in a multitude of mediums. There will also be food trucks, live music and a community canvas!

White Whale Residency
