Soul Surfer is the second in my #ispyhearts series where I incorporate my heart photography with poetry, tons of texture from found objects and resin for multi-dimension.
The shapes from pieces of resin-run off and the hearts (there are 16 in total), handwritten notes, and worn patterns—emerge like echoes of personal history, inviting closer inspection. Both chaotic and tender, the piece captures the beauty of our memories and the traces we leave behind.
