Love Letter to a City

Scroll

Sometimes a piece isn’t finished. It’s just waiting for its next address.

Originally created as Unearthed, this work never quite felt resolved. Rather than leave it there, I returned to the surface - reworking, rebuilding, covering and revealing until an entirely new landscape emerged.

Now Love Letter to a City, the piece embraces the visual language of urban streets; layered signage, architectural fragments. interrupted text, weathered surfaces, color and movement. The original work still exists beneath it, surfacing here and there like the history of a city itself.

Unearthed, the foundation of Love Letter to a City, whose texture consisted entirely of resin run-off pieces created the perfect architectural base for its urban transformation.
